About

IMG_2674A long, long time ago…ok, 24 short years ago, Heather was born in a galaxy far, far away. Ok, Indiana. Born to two CIA spies or “Government workers,” Heather learned early what it meant to have a complicated life. With three older half-siblings ranging from 10-20 years old, Heather came into the world strange and continues to foster that personality.

At the tender age of 4, Heather’s family expanded with her younger sister’s birth. Brittany came into the world talking and is pursuing a career in politics (naturally). Not long after B’s birth, the family made the move South to Evans, Georgia, home of…nothing. For the next 5 years, Heather spent her days playing street hockey with her Canadian neighbors and tuning her 12″ black and white TV with only two dials. It’s with this TV she stumbled upon “Sports Night,” which ignited her love for Film and Television production and subsequent obsession with all Sorkin-related things.

After her parents split up, Heather moved to Dublin, Georgia for an unbearable 6 months where she was educated in the torment afflicted upon people who don’t have Southern accents and live in central Georgia. In December 2000, she moved to Marietta, Georgia, home of rich, white, Republicans. She would live there for the next 6 years devoting her time to becoming the least snobby gal in East Cobb.

Before her Senior year of High School, Heather’s delightful Mum decided to host a 10 year old girl from the glorious country of Kazakhstan. She became Heather’s youngest sister in May 2006, two weeks before her High School graduation. After a summer of goodbyes (exactly like on The OC), Heather moved 200 miles east to attend the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.

After one year, Heather decided Columbia was too small of a city to contain her and moved back to Atlanta to attend Georgia State University (fo’ free). She spent 3 years frolicking around Atlanta and realizing that parts of the South ain’t that bad. From May 2007 to December 2011, Heather dedicated her life to enjoying every street of Atlanta, a city she grew to love along with the people in it.

But alas, good things must come to an end. After 23 years living east of the Mississippi, Heather moved west to Tinsel Town (because Christmas decorations are on sale this time of year). In January 2012, Heather packed up her car and drove from Atlanta to Los Angeles to pursue a life of wealth and bright lights…kinda. After living in Glendale and Atwater Village, Heather now lives in Koreatown with her roommate and her DVD collection. She divides her time between watching things on screens, doing freelance PA work around LA and becoming the next Liz Lemon.
