Life Goals
I’ve heard repeatedly that setting life goals is a good motivation. So here’s what I’ve got so far. By the time I’m done, I’ll have about 100. Some are far-fetched, some very reasonable & some already accomplished.
1. Give $100,000 to a charity (in a lump sum)
2. Donate a year of my life to charity work
3. Work with innercity kids in downtown Atlanta for 6 months
4. Produce a film that gets accepted into Sundance
5. Produce an award-winning documentary
6. Win an Emmy Award
7. Win an Oscar for Best Documentary
8. Donate a year of my life to working on a political campaign
9. Own property in New York City
10. Complete a Half-Marathon
11. Visit the White House
12. Go to my grandmother’s hometown in Grimsby, England
13. Live in Europe for 6 months
14. Go backstage at a concert
15. Weigh under 150lbs for the rest of my life
16. Complete a Marathon
17. Visit all 50 states
18. Visit 100 countries
19. Sell one of my photographs to someone I don’t know
20. Learn to play piano
21. Become fluent in a second language
22. Visit Kazakhstan with Anna, Brittany & Mum
23. Go to a Superbowl in which the Colts are playing
24. Go to a Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium
25. Get a tattoo
26. Publish a book
27. Become ambidextrous
28. Exercise 3-4 times a week for 60 minutes for 40 years
29. Visit Africa
30. Run with wild animals in Africa
31. Attend a movie premiere
32. Live in Los Angeles, California for a year
33. Visit 6 continents
34. Go to the top of the Eiffel Tower
35. Go snorkeling in Hawaii
36. Go on a cruise
37. Visit Haiti
38. Have 10,000 followers on Twitter
39. Be able to support myself solely through the profit of a website
40. Publish an article in a respected magazine
41. Read 500 of the books on the ‘1001 Books to Read Before You Die’ List
42. Watch all of the movies on AFI’s Top 100 Movies of all time list
43. Watch every movie that has won the Best Picture Oscar
