Lots of men spending time with each other this week. A fight, fake blood, construction work. It really can’t get any more masculine. You barely see any of the girls this week and watch for flying bits of testosterone.A comic convention stampede brings lots of victims into the hosiptal. Why were they stampeding? A limited-edition TARDIS! (Check out Doctor Who if you don’t get this.) I’ll also mention that this is slightly terrifying to watch just 3 days before I leave for New York Comic Con. Great.Jackson tries to prove himself to Derek and Mark by suggesting an unusual procedure. Owen struggles to find the balance between Chief Resident and actually practicing medicine. After a long day, the men of the hospital head to Derek’s to “hammer stuff” and gossip. And all of the sudden, Owen becomes confident and leader-like when dealing with an unruly victim.Both Jackson and Alex use a bogus excuse that the Chief gave them (“an appointment with Mayfield in 22”) to get out of something they didn’t want to do without knowing what it was. It’s the ED doctor.When Mark finds out that Derek is giving Jackson a better opportunity at surgeries, he gets jealous and begins to offer him even better chances. Turns out, Mark’s upset that Derek didn’t recommend him as Chief.
